The Blueprint
April 4, 2005

Dear Friends,

It is interesting to note that when I sat down to write this message, I started out with my usual question and answer that I use for personal work. We started working with the concept of time, but quickly switched gears to the image of the blueprint. It didn't lead me where I thought it would go, but that's the magic of this work - letting Spirit lead where it will, with us walking side by side enjoying the view. Hoping you all peace and beauty and serenity in the midst of our glorious "mansion from blueprint" lives. As always -

Susie

The Blueprint

(Susie's question and statement: What is happening with the time? It feels as though time has folded in on itself.) And that would be an accurate assessment of the current times. Time has always been elusive, hard to pin down. Time is relative, depending on what you are talking about. Time stretches out, contracts in, slows down to a moment-by-moment stillness, jumps across the boundaries of linear borders. This is as it has always been, for in fact time is just a construct, a rough blueprint to attempt to show coherence, sense and order out of that which appears to the human to be out of order much of the time.

Imagine looking at a blueprint you see a dark blue background with light blue lines and writings. You may be able to envision what the finished product will look like, but chances are, the third dimension end product is vastly different from the two-dimensional drawing. In fact, here is a secret: the blueprint that is this life on this earth was originally intended as a working suggestion for the mind to create a purposeful life. The brain knows how to interpret the blueprint, to work with the body to bring the blueprint to life, but here is what happened: the brain, over time, began to work from the blueprint itself, to live life as if the blueprint were the end product, when in fact it is only the beginning, the seed, the dream. This is seen when those people say, "the only Truth is that which is before us, that which we can touch, taste, smell, see and hear. Anything beyond that is false." We can touch the blueprint, but we cannot yet touch the building. Does that mean the building is not real, because it has not yet come into fruition? No it is simply that the home has not yet been built but it will be. Do we need to see the finished building to believe it can be built from the blueprint? I think not.

It is up to all three energies (body, mind and spirit) to work together to build the dream. Spirit is the Master Architect who has the ability to translate our deepest dreams to what is standing before us. Mind is the mechanism to translate that from the unknown into that which is known on this earthly plane. Body is the dear one who carries the plans out to completion. All need to work together. So the question we would like to ask you is this: are you living your life in your beautiful mansion, or are you crouched on top of your crumpled blueprints, saying "it's just incredible, isn't it? This beautiful house? Isn't it something?"

Look around you what is everyone else doing? Living with those limits? Living in a 2-dimensional world? We tell you there is no end to the dimensions, but to believe this, you have to get up off your blueprints and look around. Question your staid beliefs, question the status quo, question the long-standing laws and regulations. Ask yourself "is this a blueprint, or is this the real thing?" The answer will lie within you, and if you listen closely, you will hear your unique answer. For some, the answer is like a sounding bell in their hearts, for some it is a feeling, a knowing in their core. Each is unique, for each is a unique house.

How do you build your house? It starts with an intention. I intend to get off this blueprint and build the real thing. I haven't understood this in the past, but I'm willing to try it. Now you ask your Higher Self, the Master Architect, for help. I need to understand every part of the blueprint so I know what supplies to get, what materials I'll need to bring my dreams to fruition. Most of you have some or most or all of your home already built. This is simply a process that can allow you conscious access to the status of your project. It is the same as saying, "how far am I down my life path?" If you are not sure, you can close your eyes and visualize a house in front of you. Look closely at this house what does it look like, what is it made out of, what greenery surrounds it, are there windows? Go up to the door and go inside walk around get to know the house. Does it need redecorating, renovating, finishing? There is no right or wrong, no better or worse, just the IS of it all. It is perfect, right where you are. Now, if you would like to add something or fix something or build something, that is perfect, too, and it is your decision.

How do you build the house? You spend time with it, spend time in it. Meditate inside it, intend to dream about it, intend to see symbols of it in your everyday life. Again, we are speaking of the symbolic aspects of your soul. If you see a home that has high vast windows, and that makes you happy, then that could very well be a symbol of your soul you are one who wants to be open, to have fresh air blowing through your life and your soul, you are one who wants to be clear and light. If you come across a beautiful vase the color of a deep blue, and you think it is just so perfect, then meditate on what the vase means to you. Are you someone who is a vessel for beautiful things to grow? Are you one who houses and nourishes things of Spirit? Is the color blue a color that is contained in your soul? For that color blue IS the color of Spirit, and tells me much about you, if you are drawn to it: you are one who has a deep, calm Spirit others feel it, too. Do you now see? Your life, your soul, your home, is all around you, waiting for you to recognize it in its individual parts. That is why you are all here, you know to experience the Divine through each other. All unique, all connected, parts of the Whole looking at each other, squinting to recognize yourselves.

You could very well look at a friend and say, "how am I you?" Or look at a tree and say, "how am I you?" Or look at the wind blowing and say, "how am I you?" For the world around you is one big blueprint for your soul, lines drawn in to give you clues and instruction into your life, so that you can build your beautiful soul. But the blueprint is not the real thing; YOU are the real thing. Do you feel it? Do you feel that magnificent mansion inside of you? Could you believe in this? Do you have the faith to ask? What do you have to lose? It is only a question of time, we think, until we feel the stirrings inside us to return to our Home. It has been so long, and we are so weary. So find your home, walk inside, and sink into the big chair. Close your eyes and be at peace you are home, and it is so beautiful.
